Zurich – dacadoo and Loylogic, both from the Greater Zurich Area, have developed a digital health platform that is being used by the online health insurance company Sanagate to motivate its policyholders to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

dacadoo operates a healthcare platform by the same name that supports private individuals and company employees assess and improve their health in real time. By using online games and other motivation techniques, users are encouraged to stay active and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Loylogic designs and builds e-commerce and e-payment systems for customer loyalty and bonus programmes.

The two companies have now combined their services in a project for the online health insurer Sanagate, a subsidiary of the health insurance company CSS. The projects integrates a behaviour-based points model into the health platform that dacadoo operates for Sanagate. Users are rewarded points for exercise or healthy eating choices, which they can then redeem for products on the health platform.

The points model was developed jointly by dacadoo and Loylogic, the product shop itself is operated by Loylogic.

“The Loylogic points shop is the perfect complement to the SanaHealth app developed for us by dacadoo. Our customers can now be rewarded when they follow their activities throughout the year, offering an additional incentive to adopt or maintain a healthy lifestyle,” said Nuot Lietha, marketing director at Sanagate.
