Zurich - The NDR platform from Exeon Analytics offers comprehensive protection against cyber threats without having to read data. Its self-learning algorithms were developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. The client base includes businesses such as the airline Swiss, PostFinance and WinGD.

Exeon Analytics will be presenting its Network Detection & Response (NDR) platform ExeonTrace at the technology trade fair GITEX Global in Dubai from October 14 to 18. The platform developed by the Zurich-based cyber-security specialists stands out from the crowd by offering a choice of cloud, on-premises and air-gapped implementations, says the company in a statement. The on-premises option in particular significantly increases the security of sensitive data in critical industries such as finance, healthcare and government.

ExeonTrace uses lightweight traffic metadata for analysis and requires neither expensive traffic mirroring to collect data nor decrypting packets to analyze traffic. ExeonTrace leverages existing IT, cloud and OT infrastructures for its analysis data.

Exeon explains that the full confidentiality feature makes the platform a recommended solution for organizations subject to strict regulations in terms of cybersecurity, compliance and data security. The self-learning algorithms used by Exeon to detect anomalies in network activities were developed at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH).

“We use Exeon as a central cybersecurity tool”, Christian Keller, Chief Information Security Officer at the airline Swiss, is quoted as saying. It is the “perfect combination and solution to monitor our network and quickly detect any kind of anomalies”.

Founded in 2016, the company has pursued the ambition of becoming Europe’s leading NDR provider since its inception. The company’s client base includes PostFinance, Swiss, WinGD and the University of St.Gallen, in addition to other banks, hospitals and logistics customers. According to a press release, Exeon practically doubled its team and client base in 2023 alone. ce/mm
