Kuala Lumpur – Malaysia’s FINX Group will launch a blockchain-powered banking platform in Europe, starting in Switzerland.

FINX Group plans to launch its blockchain-powered banking platform in several Europe countries starting from Switzerland. According to a statement, FINX has already acquired a Swiss asset management company and is on track to launch the banking platform by the end of this year.

Bobby Banks, former managing director of Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase, will help guide the platform on its path towards becoming a full-fledged decentralized banking platform.

“Blockchain technology is set on a path to disrupt the banking industry on a scale not seen since the inception of centralized banking system. Our goal is to have a global footprint and be among the first few who embrace this revolutionary technology in finance sector,” said FINX co-founder Victor Hoo.

FINX Group, which has members in Asia and Europe, is the world’s first fully decentralized bank.
