Startup dacadoo develops and operates a digital mobile platform that motivates users to achieve and maintain healthy lifestyle habits in a fun way. Irish Life is now drawing on dacadoo’s expertise to offer its customers an app of this kind. Working in collaboration with dacadoo, Irish Life has developed a new generation of the digital health app. My Life, as this new solution is called, will now be made available to 1.3 million policyholders, it was reported in a press release.
“We are impressed by the success of My Life, which we have developed together with dacadoo, and are confident that our close relationship with customers means our policyholders will benefit directly from the advantages of a digital health app and its integrated reward system,” said David Harney, CEO of Irish Life.
“Irish Life is not only the largest life insurer in Ireland, but also exceedingly open to innovation and the digital transformation in our sector. We are therefore delighted and proud to be in partnership with Irish Life and look forward to advancing our digital health platform in Ireland together,” commented Peter Ohnemus, CEO and founder of dacadoo.
The startup dacadoo is already working with a number of insurance companies, including Germany’s Hannover Re and T&D Holdings, the holding company of the Japanese T&D life insurance group. According to Peter Ohnemus, the company has grown to become a global leader in the area of digital health solutions in recent years.
