Zug – Lykke has raised 6 million Swiss francs in a 24-hour token sale. The Zug-based fintech company developed a platform for trading digital currencies.

Transactions conducted on Lykke’s platform for trading digital currencies are carried out via its app, the Lykke Wallet. Various cryptocurrencies can be exchanged over the platform.

The company has now raised 6 million Swiss francs in a 24-hour token sale. A total of 878 participants from 78 countries took part in the LKK2Y token sale, a two-year forward, Ethereum-based token that grants the right to receive digital shares in the company two years after execution.

Lykke founder and CEO Richard Olsen is very pleased with the results of the token sale.

“We are also heartened by the overwhelming support that we continue to receive for our trading platform and for the long-term goals of our company,” Olsen said in a statement.
