The Zurich-based software development firm Nevis Security is being tasked with securing the gaming operations of Swiss Casinos, further details of which can be found in a press release. The two companies have agreed a wide-ranging collaboration, under the terms of which Swiss Casinos, also based in Zurich, is keen to benefit from the cloud-based authentication solutions developed by Nevis. In particular, the company’s Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) is to be used. Swiss Casinos hopes that this will help to simplify the registration of players for online games. Identification will be carried out via biometric data capture from mobile phones instead of passwords, an approach which promises to deliver enhanced security.
For its part, Nevis expects the collaboration to strengthen its position in the iGaming industry. This would also be ensured with the support of the extensive gaming solutions offered by the technology partner Playtech, as the press release explains.
