Zurich – PwC is collaborating with the start-up F ECTIVE, which is based in the Greater Zurich Area and has developed a platform that connects buyer to suppliers directly on the basis of specific criteria.

The new F ECTIVE workforce platform helps companies in which temporary external talent plays a key role for certain roles reach the right individual or the right service provider. According to the start-up, the future of work will be characterised by flexible on-demand work, known as the gig economy.

Their revolutionary approach is independently aggregating a pool of resources from professional service providers, independent contractors and an organisation’s own internal employees. Candidates are not only categorised according to experience, but also based on their soft skills, passion and career outlook as well as further criteria such as pay expectations and mobility.

“Our platform enables access to an extended workforce, knowledge and skills with unprecedented speed and flexibility,” comments Andy Kobelt, co-founder and CEO of F ECTIVE.

F ECTIVE ascertains that consulting companies have significantly expanded their range of innovative, digital, professional services and skills to help their clients. It’s now their turn to digitalise their own business and services.

“Being disruptive means also taking a critical look at our own digital transformation. We are very pleased to work together with F ECTIVE to innovate and develop new ways of bringing our services to market,” said Alex Schultz-Wirth, Partner FS Business Technology, PwC Switzerland.
