Trust Square and the Ticino Blockchain Technologies Association (TBTA) have established a partnership, as was reported in a press release. Their aim is to launch projects that advance innovation in the area of blockchain. They plan to offer joint initiatives such as events to connect blockchain startups, investors, corporates and academia.
In a first step, TBTA will join Trust Square’s upcoming DLT Event Series. This will include panel discussions, a conference and a hackathon, with the involvement of companies such as Bittrex Global and Cardano.
Located in the heart of Zurich, the Trust Square technology center was opened in 2018 and provides a space for innovative startup ideas to flourish. It also organizes various events and accelerator programs for startups.
The TBTA aims to support innovative companies active in the blockchain sector. It also promotes academic studies of this new technology. TBTA’s founding partners include Bitcoin.com, among other companies. It also has two academic partners, namely the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI) and the University of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI).
