Viso.ai has raised a total of 9.2 million US dollars from investors. The financing round was led by the London-based venture capital firm Accel, while angel investors and industry experts such as Mehdi Ghissassi (Google DeepMind), Mihai Faur (UiPath), Remy Lazarovici (Celonis), James Isilay (Cognism) and Stef van Grieken (Cradle Fund) were all also involved, further details of which can be found in a press release. The fresh capital is to be used to further expand the team in order to “serve customers worldwide, and to continue enhancing the computer vision platform’s end-to-end and no-code capabilities”, the press release explains.
The Schaffhausen-based technology company Viso.ai is developing the next generation of visual Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. It launched a low-code/no-code AI vision platform called Viso Suite in 2022, which aims to make implementing computer vision applications much easier, faster, more successful and more cost-effective. This allows companies to develop, deploy, operate and scale computer vision applications in a single workspace - from data collection and model training, to pipelining, configuration and monitoring.
Viso describes Viso Suite as the “fastest-growing computer vision infrastructure”. According to information from the company itself, it already has customers in 16 countries, including PwC, A2A, DPD, DHL and Orange, in addition to other Fortune 500 companies. In the future, the company’s goal is “to become the global provider of AI vision infrastructure”. ce/mm
