Zurich Airport has once again claimed the title of Europe’s Leading Airport at the World Travel Awards, having held the top spot continuously since 2004. This year, the awards ceremony took place in Batumi, Georgia. According to a press release issued by Flughafen Zürich AG,  customer satisfaction and the quality standards of products and services at and around Zurich Airport were assessed for the nomination.

“Keeping quality high on an ongoing basis is one of our top priorities at Zurich Airport,” says CEO Lukas Brosi. “In recent months, we have faced operational challenges due to the strong recovery of passenger numbers after the pandemic. However, thanks to the good cooperation with all airport partners, the measures taken took effect. The fact that we are once again able to accept this award means a lot to us.”
