Zurich - The digital staffing platform Coople is now offering a tool based on artificial intelligence (AI) to help companies with composing job descriptions. It aims to save time and produce appealing texts.

A new tool from Coople that has been trained using deep learning helps companies to create job descriptions. According to a press release from the digital personnel services agency, it should save recruitment time. It has been trained with deep learning, which is a type of machine learning.

Users of Coople’s internet platform, which is said to be the largest in Europe according to information from the company, can use this tool to create a first draft of their job description. They only need to enter a few brief details, such as the official company name, the location, and a description of the company, and receive a draft text almost immediately. This can then be edited.

Yves Schneuwly, Group Chief Commercial Officer, has observed that companies providing clear job descriptions receive more applications. This means that they find suitable staff more quickly. He adds: “However, we know too that this can be one of the most time-consuming aspects of the recruitment process.” The new tool aims to remedy this for companies “so that they spend less time on this and instead can focus on looking for the perfect employee.” ce/mm
