The Zurich-based Kemiex AG, a provider of procurement, sales and intelligence platforms for physical raw materials, has secured equity investments from the strategic investment arm of the CME Group, further details of which can be found in a press release. With the capital increase implemented by the companies CME Ventures, the data and analysis company DTN and the private investor Wille Finance, Kemiex will seek to elevate its global trading undertakings to an institutional enterprise level.
The company plans to improve its apps and white label platforms for sourcing, selling and analyzing the raw materials. This is intended to facilitate trading and risk management for customers and help them to solve complex challenges such as Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and greenhouse gas reporting. In a further step, the product range of agrichemicals, other chemicals and raw materials is to be expanded as well. eb
