Zug - Lucy Security AG has won three awards for its education program at this year’s Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. The program allows employees to prepare for potential cyber-attacks by way of simulated training scenarios.

The Zug-based company Lucy Security AG has been named a Gold Winner for three 2020 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards (Best Anti-Phishing Platform, Best Security Education and Best Security Education Platform), as detailed in a press release. The awards recognized the quality of the training platform developed by Lucy Security, which aims to increase IT security consciousness within the company. According to Lucy Security, a technical solution alone is not able to solve security problems. Employees themselves are a very important part of the company-wide security policy.

With the company’s training platform, employees are able to put themselves in the shoes of a hacker and carry out phishing and malware simulations, technology evaluations and simulated ransomware attacks, for example. Employees do not need specialist knowledge to use the training platform.

We congratulate Lucy Security for their recognition as a 2020 Gold Winner for Best Anti-Phishing, Best Security Education, and Best Security Education Platform", said Holger Schulze, founder of the Information Security Community on LinkedIn and organizer of the fifth annual Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, before adding: “These awards recognize the market's compelling need for greater security awareness and education”.
