He adds: “Now that the industry is adjusting to a new normal and the COVID-19 restrictions are gradually being eased, our customers and partners are keen to see and experience the most recent Big Kaiser developments in person”.
Visitors are invited to discover the history of Big Kaiser by way of a timeline that extends from the founding year of 1948 right through to the present day. An exhibition shows the company's products from the first fine boring head developed in 1954 with adjustment via two rings to the smart EWA 68, a fully automated fine boring tool.
In the press release, Big Kaiser explains how the EWA fine boring head is currently being tested at the Tech Center on the DMU 50 in order to develop an automated control platform that runs on standard industry PCs and that facilitates a clean Plug and Play adaptation to existing, older tool machines. The company based in Rümlang was founded by Heinz Kaiser and is now a member of the BIG Daishowa Group in Japan.
