DenkWerkstatt (which means “thinking workshop”) comprises five seminar hotels in Glarus Nord, as well as innovative seminar rooms in nature. Benches, blackboards and chalk are available for guests to use amid greenery. The concept is meant to offer an inspiring addition to the conventional seminar routine.
Ten DenkOrte (“thinking places”) and the DenkBahn cable car are now being supplemented with a DenkWeg or “thinking trail”. Shaped like the number eight, the trail is designed around the concept of mindfulness. Participants meet at eight stations to participate in puzzles and brain twisters, and each station is equipped with an information board and seats. Participants in the DenkWeg games can also win prizes several times a year.
The DenkWeg trail will open on 15 June. It trail starts and ends in the car park at the Kerenzerberg Sports Centre.
DenkWerkstatt was founded a few years ago by hotel operators in Glarus Nord. The project aims to boost tourism and give new momentum to seminar guests.
