Zug/New York – The BuildCoin Foundation from Crypto Valley Zug is partnering with the American company OpenCrowd. Together, they plan to develop a blockchain ecosystem for public infrastructure projects.

The BuildCoin Foundation and OpenCrowd have their sights set on revolutionizing the global market for infrastructure projects. Their new partnership will see them develop a blockchain platform to bring more transparency to both project performance and payments in a move to combat corruption.

Another of their goals is to facilitate the implementation of crowdsource project concepts from citizens. Thanks to crowdfund projects, citizens who will benefit from a new infrastructure can also invest in its creation.

“We are confident that this partnership will allow us to reinvent how public infrastructure projects are delivered to citizens,” said John Cronin, President of the BuildCoin Foundation, in a statement.

Sushil Prabhu, CEO of OpenCrowd, also commented, saying that the planned blockchain solutions would be brought to market “at record speed”.

The BuildCoin Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Zug. It is behind the BuildCoin Ecosystem, which aims to improve the efficiency of infrastructure projects. OpenCrowd is a design and technology services company from New York. It specializes in the development of advanced distributed ledger technologies and machine learning applications.
