Zurich – Assetmax, a fintech company from the Greater Zurich Area, has successfully concluded its first round of financing. Credit Suisse was among the investors in the company that develops IT platforms for asset managers.

Investors in the financing round included SVC Ltd. For Risk Capital for SMEs – an investment vehicle of Credit Suisse – as well as the Schwyzer Kantonalbank and Doodle founder Paul E. Sevinç. The startup company reportedly raised a sum in the single-digit millions region.

Assetmax (formerly Fimax Asset Management AG) was founded in 2013 and develops IT platforms for independent asset managers and banks. It plans to use the new funds primarily to develop its entire platform further.

“Our strong customer growth calls for more resources and the development of both our IT platform and our company structure,” commented Massimo Ferrari, CEO and co-founder of Assetmax AG. “The capital we have raised will enable us to put these important steps in motion. It is a milestone in our company’s short history.”

Assetmax AG is headquartered in Zurich and has an office in Lugano in the canton of Ticino.
