Amberg Technologies and Pandrol have entered into a strategic partnership. In this context, the technology company based in Regensdorf in the canton of Zurich will supply the global rail infrastructure supplier headquartered in Paris with a new track measurement system, further details of which can be found in a press release.
The press release explains that Pandrol will receive a new system to monitor and measure railway track infrastructure. This should contribute to increased railway availability and reduce maintenance costs. To this end, the new trolley family is equipped with next-generation sensors and software. The innovative measurement technology was presented this year at InnoTrans, the leading international trade fair for transport technology.
For Amberg Technologies, a cooperation with Pandrol is of strategic importance”, comments Svein G. Vatslid, CEO von Amberg Technologies, in the press release. This should serve to enhance the company’s global presence and visibility of its measuring technology for “customers beyond our traditional network”, he adds.
Pandrol has been active in the rail market for more than 100 years and, according to information from the company itself, has delivered railway infrastructures to more than 100 countries around the world.
