Neuhausen - The new CARUSO CR 777 sunglasses from CARUSO & FREELAND are the first of their kind to feature neither screws nor a frame. The design can be selected according to face type. It also offers UV and blue light protection for the eyes.

The glasses manufacturer CARUSO & FREELAND from Neuhausen am Rheinfall in the canton of Schaffhausen has unveiled the new CARUSO CR 777 sunglasses. According to a company statement, the sunglasses are the first design to feature neither screws nor a frame. The side shields, as well as UV and blue light protection for the eyes, combine fashion and design with protection, the statement continues.

The CR 777 can be adapted to any face type and activity. Customers can choose their model depending on one of six known face types, which allows wearers to customize their look, writes the statement. Another new feature, continues the company, is that these sunglasses can be fitted with prescription lenses for single vision, bifocal, or progressive lenses.

The CARUSO CR 777 also protects against UV rays and blue light. A study conducted by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) shows how quickly the blue light limit is reached as per the ICNIRP standard, which specifies generally applicable exposure times and limits. ICNIRP is the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection. The study on exposure limits was published in the journal "Health and Physics".

The CARUSO CR 777 will be on display at the CARUSO & FREELAND booth in the SWISS Pavilion at the Dubai Airshow from 13-17 November. ce/gba
