As the parent company of Vistaprint and other Web-to-print brands, Cimpress employs more than 5500 workers worldwide and supplies more than 16 million customers in 130 countries each year. Cimpress and its customer-facing brands empower individuals, small businesses, resellers and graphics professionals to make an impression with customized marketing and promotional products including business cards, office stationery, decorated apparel, announcements and more.
During its early years, Cimpress’ Switzerland facility employed just 10 engineers. Today, the company's 140 employees develop a variety of products and technologies, such as individually printed cellphone covers, embroidered apparel and desk calendars. From its Winterthur location, Cimpress manages more than 2000 employees at its production plants worldwide. The company trains its employees in the technology sector and in leadership and management at the Winterthur Technology Center. Cimpress is growing constantly and moved into larger premises in 2013.
In the search for a new location for its Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain headquarters, Winterthur beat out competitors from southern Germany, Austria and other parts of Switzerland.
