Zurich – The consulting firm EY and Apiax, a regtech startup from the Greater Zurich Area, are joining forces, with Apiax transforming EY’s regulatory content into a machine-readable format for financial institutions.

Apiax has developed a platform to transform complex financial regulations into digital regulatory content, which can then be deployed in banking applications. Now, the startup from Zurich is digitalizing regulatory content into a machine-readable format for the consulting firm EY, announced a statement.

EY offers regulatory content for over 120 countries, covering important topics including cross-border financial services, product distribution and tax regulations.

“Given the regulatory complexity at an all-time high and the increasing importance of digital banking, we strongly believe in the future of digital regulatory compliance,” commented Andreas Blumer of EY. The collaboration will “solidify our position as an agent of change in the financial services industry,” added Darko Stefanoski, also of EY.
