Sant'Antonino TI - Interroll has developed a new, high-performance, automatic sorting system, which can even process larger, heavier goods. The company from the Greater Zurich Area creates sorting systems that are used worldwide, for example at Amazon and DHL, among others.

Interroll is expanding its portfolio to include automatic sorting solutions. According to a press release, the company is launching a new high-performance sorting system on the market. This is able to handle up to 20,000 conveyed goods per hour. At the same time, the system is also able to transport goods weighing up to 50 kilograms. The carrier has additionally been made 50 percent wider. The system uses a mechanical drive concept, which is comparatively quiet according to the press release.

Jens Strüwing, Executive Vice President at Interroll states: “Our unique, mechanical drive concept enables us to process an increasing number and variety of goods according to demand—with the highest reliability and economic advantages that are unparalleled in the world market.” According to the press release, over 400 of Interroll’s automatic sorting systems are currently in use globally. Among others, companies such as Amazon, DHL, and Hugo Boss currently rely on the Ticinese company’s technology.
