Zurich – One of the fastest growing companies worldwide in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry is Beekeeper. The startup from the Greater Zurich Area has developed an app that integrates every single employee into a company’s communications system.

Beekeeper has been assisting companies with their digitalization processes since 2012. The startup developed an app that integrates all employees into a company’s internal communications system – even those who do not have access to a company e-mail address. According to Beekeeper, some 2 billion non-desk employees worldwide find themselves in this situation, most of whom work in the hospitality, manufacturing or retail industries.

The startup has now made it into the Saas 1000 list, which ranks the 1,000 fastest-growing SaaS companies worldwide. The index uses an intelligent algorithm that considers various indicators, such employee size growth and overall employee size, to calculate a company’s growth over the past six months. Beekeeper recorded a growth rate of 28 per cent and now has more than 100 employees in this period, allowing it to reach 59th place for its first-time entry into the SaaS 1000 list.

“Beekeper’s employee app for international communication and process optimizing is revolutionizing the working lives of non-desk employees around the world,” Tom Blue, founder of Saas 1000, is quoted by startupticker.ch, adding that Beekeper’s entry into the list of the 1,000 fastest-growing SaaS companies is “a clear sign of continuous growth”.

The SaaS 1000 list is updated quarterly.
