Dutch media company Supply Chain Media organized a startup contest that aims to promote and develop innovation in the supply chain industry. Twenty-eight startups from across Europe participated in the first call for entries, and the jury ultimately crowned Luckabox the winner.
In addition to a 3D-printed trophy, Luckabox won €40,000 worth of marketing exposure in Supply Chain Media’s various media channels, according to an article on startupticker.ch.
Luckabox has revolutionized parcel deliveries to consumers with its artificial intelligence-based technology, which automatically calculates which courier company can deliver the online order the fastest. The system takes into consideration factors such as location, fleet and customer rating. Thanks to its technology, online retailers can now offer same-day delivery, and city-based retailers can even deliver to consumers within two hours.
Major retailers such as Jelmoli and Franz Carl Weber are already using Luckabox logistics solutions, and the startup is continuously expanding. “We are currently ramping up operations with three potential courier partners in Vienna,” said Aike Festini, co-founder of Luckabox.
Luckabox’s innovative concept has already won over investors, including a large European express logistics company. The startup raised 600,000 Swiss francs in a pre-seed round.
