The not-for-profit DFINITY Foundation, a major contributor to the formation of the Internet Computer blockchain (ICP), and the Dubai-based TGC are joining forces to seamlessly integrate TGC’s innovative gaming platform in the decentralized ICP ecosystem.
“We’re liberating a generation of gamers from the confines of geography, hardware limitations, and internet connections”, comments Osman Masud, CEO of TGC, in a press release issued by DFINITY. This is an important step in the direction of a future in which games can move beyond the limitations of traditional platforms.
To achieve this, the “secure and scalable infrastructure” of ICP will be leveraged “to enhance the accessibility and performance of TGC’s innovative gaming solutions”, the press release explains. Gamers will be able to enjoy their favorite triple-A game titles that are connected to their Steam or Epic accounts “with enhanced security, transparency, and reliability”.
“By combining TGC’s creative prowess with our AI cloud gaming platform, we’re shaping a future where gaming experiences are not just streamed, but orchestrated directly from the web3 cloud, and adapt uniquely to every player”, comments Dominic Williams, founder and Chief Scientist at the DFINITY Foundation, in the press release. “Through the interplay of advanced Artificial Intelligence and interactive gaming worlds, this new generation of gaming is poised to create dynamic environments that respond to players’ actions, offering them a level of engagement previously unimaginable”, he concludes. ce/mm
