Altdorf/Sins - COMED AG has agreed a takeover deal for eNovate GmbH. This will add a new fourth location to the IT company’s existing branch offices in Altdorf, Stans and Schwyz. From the new site, COMED intends to tap into new customer bases in the greater Zug/Aargau area.

COMED AG from Altdorf in the canton of Uri in Switzerland is the new owner of eNovate GmbH with effect from October 1, 2024. All employees are to be retained. Fabian Nussbaumer, who alongside his wife Nicole is the current owner and managing director of the informatics solutions specialists from Sins in the canton of Aargau, will remain at the company and continue to manage the location, according to a press release.

The integration of eNovate will allow the Uri-based company to expand its presence in the greater Zug/Aargau area. This geographic expansion, as well as the additional expertise and resources that the takeover will bring, are intended to strengthen COMED’s market position.

Project management teams at the company, which was founded in 2018, are tasked with planning, implementing, monitoring and analyzing ICT infrastructures. The company also conducts cyber security training on a regular basis, while additionally holding a Microsoft Modern Work Small and Medium Business certification since the beginning of 2023. This certification represents confirmation that COMED AG possesses the necessary skills and resources to support companies in their digital transformation and to provide a secure and productive modern working environment. ce/mm
