Google opens innovation center in Zurich
Zurich - Google has officially opened its innovation center situated on Europaallee in downtown Zurich. With around 5,000 employees, the Zurich location is the IT giant’s largest development hub outside of the USA. The Californian firm is seeking further growth in Zurich over the years to come.
Correction app Herby to be deployed at primary schools

Wearable exomuscle provides power and endurance
Zurich - Researchers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich have tested a prototype of a wearable exomuscle on human test subjects for the first time. The results are highly promising: the exomuscle allowed both healthy participants and those with a form of restricted mobility to lift their arms and objects for far longer.
Ponera wins SEIF Award for Responsible Innovation
Figino - The Ponera Group has won this year’s SEIF Award for Responsible Innovation. The start-up from the Greater Zurich Area has been recognized for its development of a modular system intended to replace wooden pallets. The modules can be reused and recycled.
New tenants set to join The Circle

Zurich ranked in the top three for quality of life in global study
London - Zurich has taken third place in the Global Liveability Index, while Geneva was ranked in sixth position. The index is produced by the Economist Intelligence Unit. This year, it reflects the individual quality of life in 172 cities around the world.
