Migros acquires the start-up bestsmile
Zurich/Winterthur - The Migros-Genossenschafts-Bund has agreed a takeover deal for the Greater Zurich Area start-up bestsmile. The acquired firm is a specialist in 3D-printed transparent braces. Following this successful exit, the three founders are set to withdraw from the operating business.
Steinfels Swiss lays foundation stone for new factory
Winterthur - Steinfels Swiss laid the foundation stone for its new production building in the Greater Zurich Area on March 30. The world’s leading operator of ski areas, based in the US State of Colorado, is investing a sum of approximately 149 million Swiss francs in the ski region.
ETH researchers unlock the secret to cell rejuvenation
Zurich - Microbiology researchers from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich have succeeded in implanting cell components of living cells in other cells.
