Zurich - Avrios International AG has raised more than 14 million Swiss francs as part of a financing round. The company has developed software to aid the administration of fleet parks.

The Zurich-based company Avrios has raised more than 14 million francs in a Series B financing round, as outlined in an article on startupticker.ch. In addition to existing investors Notion Capitaland Lakestar, companies such  as Swisscom VenuresEdenred Capital Partners and Columbia Lake Partners, among others, were also involved in the financing round.

Avrios has developed a software to support companies in the digitalization of fleet park management processes. The Avrios platform is based on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The platform processes in fully automated fashion everything from the call to tender and orders all the way to contract management and driving license verification.

According to the information currently available, around 800 customers are managing more than 80,000 vehicles via the Avrios platform. Founder and CEO Andreas Brenner is looking to use the fresh capital injection to drive forward the pace of growth yet further, the article explains.

In a press release issued following his investment, Jos White of Notion Capital explains that he identified huge potential in the Avrios platform. In this regard, Avrios may not only support companies in purchasing new vehicles in the future, but also aid them in using new mobility concepts such as sharing offers. This would also enable companies to reduce their carbon footprint.
