Zurich - Bring! Labs AG has secured 4 million Swiss francs in a funding round. The start-up offers a shopping planning app and also aims to offer new advertising opportunities to companies in future.

Bring! Labs AG from Zurich has concluded a successful series B round of financing according to a press release on startupticker.ch. In addition to existing investors such as Swisscom Ventures and Investiere.ch, Swiss Post and the publishing company Gruner + Jahr were involved with their respective venture capital divisions. Additionally, Dominique Locher, the former CEO of LeShop, also made an investment.

Bring! Labs AG provides the Bring app, which helps users to plan their shopping. The app is to be further enhanced using the fresh capital. For example, it aims to support users with planning meals and offer more recipes as well. The goal is to support users from the moment of culinary inspiration through to the decision to buy. The company also hopes to introduce new advertising options.

The start-up aims to further drive growth in Switzerland and Germany and also hopes to tap into the markets of France and Italy.

Bring! Labs AG was founded in Zurich in 2015. According to the company’s own information, the app is already used by over 5 million people worldwide. The target is to double the number of users over the next few years.
