Switzerland now has its first company to be digitally founded from A to Z. As the Lugano and Zurich-based start-up Hoop has now announced, it has successfully developed a fully digital incorporation process on its eponymous platform in cooperation with the IT service provider DeepCloud and the digital bank Yapeal.
The founders of the Winterthur-based start-up SpeedGo were able to digitally sign all the necessary documentation at their various workplaces. This was made possible by the Swiss digital identification solution DeepID and DeepSign electronic signatures. “The whole incorporation process, which usually takes several weeks to months in Switzerland, was completed in a record time of around six hours”, Hoop states in its press release.
Pascal Huber, Managing Director of Breitenmoser-Edelmann Treuhand AG, a trust company based in Eastern Switzerland, is behind the newly founded company. “I was surprised myself at just how convenient, simple and quick the whole process was”, he says in the press release, adding that: “We have now entered a new era of company incorporations based on digitization, speed and simplicity”.
At present, a total of 20 trustees have access to a beta version of the Hoop platform. According to the press release, it should be available from June onwards to all those looking to form their own start-up. ce/mm
