Kollabo has successfully closed a pre-seed financing round. The process was led by the Zurich-based venture capital fund Wingman Ventures, as detailed in an article on startupticker.ch. The entrepreneur Hermann Arnold was also involved. The volume of this financing round was not disclosed.
Kollabo was able to win over investors with its jobs platform for temporary work opportunities in the construction industry. The platform puts job seekers in contact with temporary employment agencies based in the local region. The Freienbach-based start-up cooperates with a network of more than 50 agencies. According to the information available, the fresh capital is to be invested in the further digitalization of business processes in addition to developing the platform further.
“We were above all impressed that the business model of Kollabo makes existing stakeholders more efficient, and therefore creates a genuine win-win situation within the industry”, explains Alex Stöckl, Founding Partner of Wingman Ventures, in the article.
