Thalwil/Hurley - The semiconductor manufacturer u-blox from Thalwil in the Swiss canton of Zurich has announced a collaboration with the British company Wireless Logic. The partners aim to enhance the capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) devices by connecting Wireless Logic's Conexa network with u-blox's advanced cellular modules.

The semiconductor specialist u-blox from Thalwil and Wireless Logic Ltd have announced a strategic partnership. According to a statement, the partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of Internet of Things (IoT) devices through Wireless Logic’s Conexa network and u-blox’s advanced cellular modules.

U-blox is a global provider of positioning and wireless communication technologies and services. Wireless Logic, which is based in Hurley in the UK, describes u-blox as Europe's leading provider of IoT connectivity platforms.

By integrating Wireless Logic’s Conexa network into select u-blox cellular modules, customers will benefit from improved network reliability and comprehensive global coverage, writes the statement. It cites the flexibility to switch between multiple mobile networks via eSIM without the need for physical SIM card changes as an additional advantage. There is also the ability to manage and monitor connectivity through Wireless Logic’s intuitive platform, reportedly providing users with greater control and visibility over their IoT deployments.

Accelerated time-to-market is cited as a further benefit of the partnership. The combination of both services will streamline the development process for IoT devices, reducing time-to-market and enabling faster deployment of innovative solutions. ce/gba
