Lachen SZ – Octapharma, a company in the Greater Zurich Area, has published positive study data for its medicine Nuwiq. It has been developed as treatment for patients with the hereditary bleeding disorder hemophilia A. The study showed that there was a low risk of inhibitor development in these patients.

Zurich - The start-up condenZero, based in the Greater Zurich Area, has won a grant worth 150,000 Swiss francs from the start-up accelerator Venture Kick. The financial support is to be used to further develop instruments for ultra-cold research projects.

Dübendorf ZH – Switzerland has been awarded a share of second place alongside Singapore in the Global Connectivity Index 2020 compiled by the technology group Huawei. The country has therefore moved up one place in comparison with the previous year.
