Cybathlon 2020 comes to a successful close
Zurich – A total of 51 teams from 20 countries presented assistance systems for people with disabilities at the Cybathlon 2020. ETH Zurich organized the competition for the second time. Two Swiss teams were among the six winners.  
Adresta proves authenticity of luxury watches
Zurich – The app launched by the start-up Adresta on Tuesday will prove the authenticity of luxury watches with a digital certificate. By doing so, it is helping to protect the Swiss watchmaking industry from fakes. Helvetia has also offered watch insurance through this app since Tuesday.  
Automate Insurance wins innovation prize
Zurich - The Insurtech start-up Automate Insurance has won the Innovationspreis der Schweizer Assekuranz (Swiss Insurance Innovation Prize) together with Swiss Re, a reinsurance provider. Additional awards were given to Zurich Commercial Insurance Switzerland, Basler Versicherungen, and the health insurance company Sanitas.

Hamilton creates 700 new jobs
Hamilton Bonaduz AG is planning two new buildings in Domat/Ems. The government has now approved the respective land offering from the municipality. Overall, 700 new jobs will be created on the site over two phases.
