Adresta proves authenticity of luxury watches
Zurich – The app launched by the start-up Adresta on Tuesday will prove the authenticity of luxury watches with a digital certificate. By doing so, it is helping to protect the Swiss watchmaking industry from fakes. Helvetia has also offered watch insurance through this app since Tuesday.  
Automate Insurance wins innovation prize
Zurich - The Insurtech start-up Automate Insurance has won the Innovationspreis der Schweizer Assekuranz (Swiss Insurance Innovation Prize) together with Swiss Re, a reinsurance provider. Additional awards were given to Zurich Commercial Insurance Switzerland, Basler Versicherungen, and the health insurance company Sanitas.
University Medicine Zurich presents pilot project
Zurich - University Medicine Zurich has presented ImmunoPhage, the only project of its kind worldwide, which utilizes highly specialized viruses to treat urinary tract infections. The aim is for this to be a therapeutic option for commonly occurring cases of antibiotic resistance.
