Zug welcomes five new companies
Zug – Five companies have recently opened subsidiaries in the canton of Zug. They hail from sectors including life sciences, ICT and fintech, and were drawn by Zug’s business-friendly climate and well developed blockchain network.

Luciole Medical raises 5.3 million Swiss francs
Zurich – Medtech firm Luciole Medical has raised 5.3 million Swiss francs in a Series A financing round. The company will use the funds to commercialize its monitoring probe for the brain.
RUAG Space partners with SWISSto12
Zurich – Space industry company RUAG Space and the startup SWISSto12 have entered into a partnership to jointly develop active antenna solutions in an effort to improve telecommunication satellites.
5G system to monitor production of aircraft
Schaffhausen — Georg Fischer has developed a system to monitor manufacturing processes in collaboration with Fraunhofer IPT and Ericsson. It is based on the 5G telecommunication standard and will be used in the aerospace sector, among others.
