Zurich – Global finance company Zedra will open an office in Zurich in an effort to build its presence in the German-speaking region.

Zedra is a global finance company that specializes in trust, corporate and fund services. The company, which has some 500 employees, has now announced that it plans to open an office in Zurich. The office will focus on building the company’s presence in the German-speaking region with key attention to its corporate business, serial entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals, according to a company statement.

The new office will be Zedra’s second in Switzerland, after its office in Geneva. Zedra has 14 offices around the world, including in the U.S., Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and the Netherlands.

Stuart McLukie, managing director of Zedra Switzerland, calls the opening of the new office in Zurich “a logical step given the significant opportunities here”, and added that the company’s presence in Zurich will allow it to better meet its clients’ needs.

The new office will be headed up by Vadim Neumann. Prior to his new challenge with Zedra, Neumann worked in Zurich for a well-known international corporate service provider.
