Trust Square sees itself as a meeting place for entrepreneurs, researchers and investors who all deal with blockchain and other trust-building technologies. The hub is moving to a new location at Paradeplatz in January. In so doing, it will secure a permanent place at the heart of the Zurich’s financial center.
According to a press release, the new location will have space for more than 200 employees, while it will also be home to an event room with capacity for 170 guests in addition to a lounge area to be used as a meeting point. To start with, more than 20 companies from the areas of blockchain, cyber security, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will move into the new office space. The overwhelming majority of these are existing Trust Square tenants. At the new location, Trust Square is planning to offer support to start-ups in even more targeted fashion – particularly with regard to its offerings in the field of business acceleration.
According to information provided by Trust Square itself, the firm has developed into a leading center for the research, development and implementation of trust-building technologies. Since opening in April 2018, a total of 185 events attracting nearly 13,000 visitors have taken place at Trust Square. Moreover, a total of 65 international delegations of government and business representatives have been welcomed to the Bahnhofstrasse premises. “By moving into our new premises, we are continuing Trust Square’s successful concept at a top location”, commented Marc Degen, co-founder and board member of Trust Square.
