The solution offered by DeepCode has already been used by a total of four million developers, as detailed in an article published on startupticker.ch. Developers can have their coding reviewed by this solution. The AI-based software is able to identify critical bugs and vulnerabilities in addition to offering suggested improvements.

The DeepCode software was also employed during the development process of the Swiss Covid-19 app. According to information from the company itself, it managed to uncover two vulnerability issues, which have now since been rectified.

DeepCode was founded in 2016 as a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). This summer, DeepCode was also awarded the Seal of Excellence for Research and Innovation by the European Commission for the second year in a row. At the moment, the start-up is working to offer its software in multiple languages. In addition, new services are also being developed.
