Zurich/New York - The US monitoring specialist Actuate is now working with LatticeFlow. The performance and robustness of Actuate’s detection and monitoring models, which are powered by Artificial Intelligence, is to be enhanced by LatticeFlow AI Vision.

LatticeFlow from Zurich and Actuate have entered into a partnership, further details of which can be found in a press release. Actuate, which is headquartered in New York, is a supplier of software solutions powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the detection of threats. LatticeFlow supports companies in their efforts to develop reliable solutions in the AI space. By integrating LatticeFlow AI Vision in Actuate systems, the partnership is intended to accelerate the response times of security teams as they react to threats to public areas.

The AI-powered solution from Actuate alerts security decision makers immediately after a threat is detected, with over 99 percent detection accuracy. Within five seconds, security teams receive an alert, which includes footage of the suspected threat, type of threat, and other relevant location information. With the integration of LatticeFlow AI Vision, Actuate’s real-time video analytics solution can more accurately identify actual threats, including weapons and unwanted intruders, resulting in a more reliable detection system, as the press release explains further.

“This partnership demonstrates the positive impact that AI can have on society, resulting in safer and more secure public spaces”, comments Tom Ulrich, who is responsible for overseeing the North American market at LatticeFlow, in the press release.

“LatticeFlow AI enables Actuate’s AI to improve performance for diverse scenes, while quickly adding new scenes, threat types, and customer requirements”, as Zack Schmidt, Data Science Manager at Actuate, explains.

LatticeFlow is a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH). ce/gba
