ANYbotics has secured fresh capital totaling 20 million Swiss francs as part of a financing round. The ETH spin-off is developing a four-legged robot that should be able to autonomously carry out inspections of industrial areas.

Climeworks building new plant in Iceland
Zurich – Climeworks has developed technology that captures carbon dioxide directly from the air. The company has now started to build a new plant in Iceland. Each year, this will remove over 4,000 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere and store this underground.

A research group from ETH Zurich has developed a system that allows patients in hospital beds to be turned from the supine position to the prone position with greater ease. The development should in particular help treat coronavirus patients. Plans are now in place for a company to manufacture the turning system.  
Verity raises CHF 7.5 million
Verity has raised a total of 7.5 million Swiss francs from investors in the form of a convertible loan. The spin-off from ETH Zurich has developed drones for interior spaces that are now also being tested in large warehouses. For this, Verity is working with IKEA and the logistics specialists DSV.  
Sygnum facilitates digital asset trading
Sygnum is the first bank in the world to offer a regulated end-to-end tokenization solution. This will simplify the process of trading digital assets on the basis of blockchain. Investors will have the opportunity to invest in real estate, art or start-ups, for example, and in so doing also acquire fractional shares of assets.  
Guuru raises 5 million US dollars
Zurich - Guuru has successfully raised a total of 5 million US dollars after closing an expanded Series A financing round. With this fresh capital injection, the start-up now intends to further develop its cloud-based customer interaction solution. In addition, plans are in place to double the pace of growth in Europe.
