Deitingen SO – Megasol Energie AG has been honoured with the Top Brand PV 2018 seal of approval by the German market research organisation EuPD Research. This accolade was presented to the solar product manufacturer from the Greater Zurich Area in the category of “modules in Switzerland”.

Chur – Banking software provider Finnova handed out the first Finnova Technology Award at its Greater Zurich Area office. The winners are two HTW Chur students, who were recognized for their work on fraud detection in online transactions.

Zurich – Pregnolia has successfully closed its seed round at 3.25 million Swiss francs. The spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) is developing a probe that improves care during routine pregnancy consultation.

Zurich – The newly launched startup Blokverse intends to develop a blockchain platform to manage digital education credentials. Blokverse was founded as a spin-off by the software company Netcetera from the Greater Zurich Area.
