Switzerland re-named most innovative economy in 2023
Geneva - The Global Innovation Index 2023 has once again placed Switzerland at the top of the rankings, for the 13th consecutive year. Sweden is second in the list of the world’s most innovative economies, ahead of the U.S., the U.K. and Singapore. A total of 132 countries were assessed for their innovative strength using 80 indicators.

Climeworks planning major project in Kenya
Zurich/Nairobi - The cleantech start-up Climeworks has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Great Carbon Valley. The aim of this partnership is to establish carbon capture and storage plants in Kenya. These should be capable of removing up to one million tons of CO2 from the atmosphere.
