UZH and Kyoto University agree to deepen ties
Zurich/Kyoto - The University of Zurich and Kyoto University have strengthened their strategic partnership following a joint symposium. This was focused on topics such as data science and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the roles these can play in medical applications. Young researchers were also invited to attend the symposium.

Leonardo bringing AW09 helicopter to the USA
Mollis/Rome/Shreveport - The Italian company Leonardo has found a partner to support the market introduction and positioning of its single-engine AW09 helicopter in the USA. The model was developed by Kopter in the canton of Glarus. Kopter was taken over by Leonardo in 2020.

Zurich again named best airport of its size in Europe
Kloten - Zurich Airport has again been named as the winner of the Airport Service Quality Award for 2022 in the category of 25 to 40 million passengers in Europe, together with the airports in Athens and Palma de Mallorca. The results are based on passenger surveys at 400 airports across a total of 95 countries.
SHS invests 10 million euros in Simulands
Zurich/Tübingen - Simulands has banked a sum of 10 million euros from the German private equity provider SHS Gesellschaft für Beteiligungsmanagement. With this fresh capital injection, the manufacturer of devices to simulate operations on patients’ hearts now intends to further expand its portfolio and drive forward international growth plans.
