First patient treated with Orpha Labs' drug
Baar ZG – This week, the first patient was treated in Israel with a drug developed by Orpha Labs to combat the rare disorder leukocyte adhesion deficiency type II (LAD II). In particularly serious cases, a special program can be used to grant patients access to this new, highly promising drug even before it has been officially authorized.
Helvetia invests in start-up Taxly
Zurich/St.Gallen - The Helvetia Venture Fund has invested in Taxly, a start-up active in the emerging field of TaxTech. Its software is designed to allow users to complete and file tax returns within a matter of minutes. Taxly is now keen to expand by offering its product beyond the cantons of Zurich, Aargau, St.Gallen and Basel-Landschaft.  
Pharvaris seeks to generate increased IPO proceeds
Zug - The BioTech firm Pharvaris has increased the initial issue price of its ordinary shares for the company’s IPO in the USA. Gross proceeds are now expected to total approximately 165 million US dollars overall. In addition, Pharvaris has granted the underwriting banks an overallotment option.
