The U.S. software giant Palantir Technologies is to establish a European hub in the canton of Schwyz. In the first phase, up to 40 software engineers will be recruited. Palantir hopes to benefit from the pool of highly qualified experts in the region.

Sygnum brings wine to the blockchain
Zurich/Steinhausen ZG - Sygnum Bank and Fine Wine Capital AG have tokenized an initial selection of premium wines. This move will allow investors to make investments in the wines. Moreover, these are the first asset tokens issued under the new Swiss DLT Law that came into effect at the start of February.  
Crypto Broker authorized as securities house
Zug – The Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) has authorized the brokerage subsidiary of the Crypto Finance Group as a securities house. This applies to a bilateral trading system with digital assets.  
Pharvaris successfully concludes Phase I study
Zug – The most promising drug candidate from Pharvaris to treat hereditary angioedema is safe and tolerated. This was the key finding from the recently concluded clinical Phase I study. Pharvaris is now planning to initiate a Phase II study before the end of the year in addition to conducting an IPO in the USA.    
Microsoft investing in Climeworks
Zurich - Climeworks has developed a technology that allows CO2 to be filtered out of the atmosphere. Microsoft is now supporting the construction of a plant for this purpose based in Iceland. Moreover, the IT giant will become a client of Climeworks.
Biotechs receive most venture capital
