Daedalean wins prize for Artificial Intelligence
Pfäffikon SZ/Zurich - The AiCon event under the patronage of Federal Councilor Guy Parmelin was held for the first time this week. The first national AI award was also presented at the event. The winner is Daedalean, which is developing autonomous piloting systems.  
Greenhouse gases turned into sustainable fuel
Zurich – Researchers at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich have developed a catalyst for sustainable synthesis gas. It converts the climate damaging raw materials of carbon dioxide and methane into hydrogen and carbon monoxide. Liquity raises seed funding of US$2.4 million
Baar ZG – The crypto startup Liquity has raised seed funding of US $2.4 million. It is building a borrowing protocol for Ethereum that will issue interest-free loans. Liquity now intends to improve access to on-chain borrowing and grow.
ETH spin-offs strengthen the Swiss economy
Zurich – For the third time, the University of St.Gallen has investigated how productive spin-offs from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH) are. According to the results, these businesses generate far more jobs than the average Swiss start-up. In addition, they are taken over more frequently as well.
