Skyscrapers to generate solar power
Manno TI/Schlieren ZH – Special blinds are being developed by iWin that are able to generate solar energy. In the first instance, the hope is these will be installed in the windows of high-rise buildings. The startup has now won 150,000 Swiss francs from Venture Kick, which it will use to prepare for market entry.

Seervision awarded three grants by the EU
Zurich - Seervision, a spin-off from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, has received grants from three separate European Union funding programs.
