Lugano/San Francisco - Energy Vault is joining forces with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company in California. The firm from the Greater Zurich Area will construct an energy storage system to supply the city of Calistoga with electricity during power failures. The system operates on the basis of batteries and hydrogen.

The technology was developed together with Weiss Engineering.
Consortium plans to advance automated parking
Zurich/Paris/Tokyo - The Zurich-based startup Embotech, the Japanese IT specialist NTT DATA, and the French automotive supplier Valeo have established a consortium. They plan to develop an automated parking system together. It is intended to be used in car factories at first.
Bruker acquires majority share in Biognosys
