Zurich/Vienna - Yokoy has entered into a partnership with Vienna-based Erste Bank. The Austrian bank will integrate Yokoy’s AI-driven, self-learning spend management software for medium-sized and large companies into its new business banking service.
Designwerk and KAISER build electric sewer cleaning vehicle
Winterthur/Schaanwald - Electromobility company Designwerk and KAISER, a Liechtenstein company specializing in sewer cleaning and and industrial waste disposal, are starting series production of the first electric vehicle designed for sewer cleaning with water recovery. The vehicle will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80 per cent.
WinGD and Mitsubishi planning the development of ammonia-fueled ships
Winterthur/Tokyo - Winterthurer Gas & Diesel Ltd. (WinGD) is joining forces with the Japanese shipbuilder and technology developer Mitsubishi Shipbuilding in the area of ammonia-fueled ships. Zurich - A team led by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich has succeeded in using UV light to produce electrons that move slowly. This will allow radiation damage, usually caused by slow electrons, to be investigated in greater detail.
